To support this major transformation project, we are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrotechnician to join the maintenance team.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of a highly automated facility featuring advanced conveying, sorting, robotics and control systems. <br> <br>Your responsibilities will include: <br>? Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment; <br>? Troubleshooting electrical, electromechanical and automation-related issues; <br>? Working with PLCs, sensors, drives, motors and industrial control systems; <br>? Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance; <br>? Collaborating closely with operations teams to maximize system availability; <br>? Assisting in the development of maintenance procedures and start-up activities for the new automated facility; <br>? Responding effectively in a fast-paced environment where troubleshooting and prioritization are critical; <br>? Participating in technical training programs provided internally and by equipment suppliers. <br>Successful candidates will join the organization prior to the facility launch in order to receive training and gain operational knowledge before the transition to the new site. <br>Working Conditions <br>? Annual salary of approximately $85,000 to $90,000, based on experience; <br>? 38.75-hour work week; <br>? Day, evening, night and weekend schedules may be required depending on operational needs; <br>? Shift premiums available; <br>? Overtime paid at premium rates; <br>? DEC in Electrotechnology, Industrial Electronics Technology or related field; <br>? Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience; <br>? Experience working in automated manufacturing, warehousing or distribution environments; <br>? Strong knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation systems, sensors and drives; <br>? Experience with conveyors, automated sortation systems, robotics or automated distribution centres is considered a strong asset; <br>? Electrical Licence C is an asset; <br>? Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; <br>? Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations; <br>?
