Ideal for a Semi-Retired Professional Mission Automotive is seeking a *Licensed Red Seal Automotive Service Technician* to join our team on a part-time weekend basis. This position is an excellent opportunity for a *semi-retired technician* or an experienced professional looking to stay active in the industry while enjoying a flexible schedule. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, has strong diagnostic abilities, and enjoys working in a professional, team-oriented environment. About Mission Automotive Mission Automotive is a well-established, independently owned automotive repair facility serving the Mission community. We are committed to providing honest recommendations, exceptional customer service, and high-quality repairs. Our modern shop is fully equipped with professional diagnostic and repair equipment, allowing our technicians to perform their work efficiently and safely. Responsibilities * Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing. * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems. * Complete maintenance services, including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and engine repairs. * Perform tire services and wheel alignments (training available if required). * Accurately document inspections, findings, and completed repairs. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Work independently while collaborating effectively with the service team. * Deliver repairs that meet or exceed industry standards. Qualifications * Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification (preferred). * Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience. * Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship. * Valid BC Driver's Licence. * Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
