*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring medication safety, and supporting clinical operations within a hospital or healthcare setting. The successful applicant will possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols, with experience working in a retail pharmacy. *Duties* * Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and legal regulations * Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers and patients regarding medication therapies and potential interactions * Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust treatments as necessary in collaboration with medical staff * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, safety standards, and hospital policies * Maintain detailed and accurate medication records and documentation for each patient * Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage instructions * Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs * Oversee medication inventory management, including ordering, storage, and disposal of pharmaceuticals * Assist in training and mentoring pharmacy interns or new staff members as needed *Requirements* * Valid Pharmacist license in BC and in good standing with the College of Pharmacy * Atleast 2+ years experience in a retail pharmacy in strongly preferred * Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and patient care standards * Experience with adaptations, MACS prescribing, immunizations, travel health preferred * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail * Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice standards This role offers an engaging environment for pharmacists committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
