Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Various locations. Commercial. Industrial. Tasks: Install gas heating units and their components. Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment. Install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter. Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices. Test and replace defective equipment or components. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
