*About the Role:* Join Edmonton's largest framing company as a Siding Installer, where you'll be responsible for installing siding and trim on new homes. *Key Responsibilities:* * Align, apply, and install various trim and siding including, but not limited to, gable trim, soffit, fascia, and vinyl siding onto roof and wall panels according to specification and standards. * Able to manufacture prefabricated metal capping and drip cap according to specifications and standards. * Apply and install prefabricated metal capping and trim around windows according to specifications and standards. * Apply and install prefabricated drip cap according to specifications and standards. * Inform the team leader or supervisor about any issues that may negatively impact production. * Read and understand basic blueprint layout. * Provide training to others on all activities of exterior finishing and an expert in all operations in the assigned area. * Follow quality control procedures. * Ensure that the required materials and supplies are available. * General labour and cleanup duties. * Perform additional duties as required. *Requirements:* * Skills with power, air, and hand tools. * 2 years of experience in residential exterior finishing. * Solid knowledge of trim and siding materials, procedures, and regulations. * Experience with residential framing or related carpentry an asset. * Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and follow directions. * Knowledge of imperial and metric measurement systems. * Ability to push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds. * Manual dexterity for using tools. * Exposure to dust, high noise levels, outdoor elements, and working at heights. * Overtime as required. *Why Choose Us?* * *Lots of Work*: Year-round, full-time permanent work available. * *Schedule*: 5 x 9 hr days, Monday-Friday with possible overtime. * *Benefits*: Paid overtime (x1.5), medical and dental benefits, safety boot allowance. * *Growth*: Career advancement. * *Perks*: Employee discounts, staff social events, and service awards. * *Culture*: Work with a supportive, skilled crew in a fantastic work environment. * *Transportation*: Ride to site provided daily with the Crew Lead from our Southeast office. *Join us to build your career with Edmonton's largest framing company and become part of an amazing culture and team!* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Experience: * Vinyl Siding: 1 year (required) * Hardie Board Siding: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
