*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Authentic Indian, Hakka Chinese and Nepali food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. The successful candidate will thrive in a team-oriented setting and be committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards * Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients * Ensure all food is cooked safely and handled in accordance with food safety regulations * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations * Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness * Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders * Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation practices * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes *Skills* * Proven experience in food service, Indian restaurant, or Hakka Chinese kitchen environments with a focus on meal preparation and cooking * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting * Strong understanding of food industry best practices for cleanliness and sanitation * Excellent teamwork and communication skills * Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to interact professionally with guests when necessary * Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail in food presentation and quality assurance Pay: $17.00-$27.31 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Work Location: In person
