<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong><strong>Location:</strong></strong> Aqua-Tots Swim School Kanata & Orleans<br /><strong><strong>Reports To: </strong></strong>Owner and Regional General Manager</p><p> </p><p>This full-time position includes approximately 8 hours each week working as part of our Client Care Team, allowing you to stay connected with our families while contributing to the overall success of both Ottawa schools.</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Position Summary</strong></strong></p><p>The Community Events & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for growing brand awareness and increasing enrollments through community outreach, local partnerships, event coordination, marketing and relationship building, and sales.</p><p>This is a highly organized, hands-on role that requires initiative, excellent time management, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and changing priorities.</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></strong></p><ul><li><strong><strong>Sales & Business Development</strong></strong></li><li><ul><li>Generate new enrollments through community outreach, local partnerships, referral opportunities, and promotional initiatives.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, childcare centres, sports organizations, healthcare providers, and community groups.</li><li>Develop creative B2B partnership opportunities that increase awareness and drive new business.</li><li>Identify new sales opportunities within the community and take initiative to pursue them.</li><li>Track sales performance and evaluate the effectiveness of events and promotional initiatives using measurable data.</li><li>Work closely with the Client Care Team to ensure leads are nurtured and converted into enrollments.</li></ul></li><li><strong><strong>Event Planning & Community Outreach</strong></strong></li><li><ul><li>Research, recommend, and coordinate community events that align with our target audience.</li><li>Organize every aspect of promotional events, including scheduling, supplies, displays, staffing, logistics, and follow-up.</li><li>Represent Aqua-Tots at community events, festivals, trade shows, and partner locations.</li><li>Confidently engage with families, answer questions, and generate qualified leads.</li><li>Continuously bring fresh ideas to improve community engagement and event success.</li></ul></li><li><strong><strong>Organization & Project Coordination</strong></strong></li><li><ul><li>Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.</li><li>Maintain organized records of partnerships, events, promotional materials, budgets, and outcomes.</li><li>Ensure marketing materials and event supplies are prepared well in advance.</li><li>Prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.</li><li>Take ownership of projects from planning through execution.</li></ul></li><li><strong><strong>Client Care Support</strong></strong></li><li><ul><li>Work approximately 8 hours each week as part of the Client Care Team.</li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current families.</li><li>Develop a thorough understanding of Aqua-Tots programs, policies, and enrollment procedures.</li><li>Support the success of both the Kanata and Orleans schools as needed.</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>We're looking for someone who:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Is highly organized and enjoys planning and coordinating multiple projects.</li><li>Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day.</li><li>Has an outgoing, confident personality and enjoys meeting new people.</li><li>Is motivated by achieving sales goals and measurable results.</li><li>Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done.</li><li>Thinks creatively and regularly brings fresh ideas for community outreach- Location Ottawa, ON
