Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Prepare patients for dental examinations. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment. Educate patients concerning oral hygiene. Perform intra-oral duties. Take and develop X-rays. Record dental procedures performed on patients. Fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations. Perform restorative and orthodontic procedures under the direction of a dentist. Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registration with provincial or territorial authorities. Area of specialization: Orthodontic appliances. Crowns and bridges.
