*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in real estate law, including property transactions, leasing, and land use. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex legal matters related to real estate, providing strategic advice and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. The position requires excellent research, negotiation, and drafting skills to support clients through various property-related legal processes. A background in utilizing legal research tools such as LexisNexis is highly desirable. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding client interests and facilitating smooth real estate transactions. *Responsibilities* * Draft and review legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, leases, and title documents * Assist clients in resolving disputes related to real estate transactions or ownership rights * Collaborate with clients, agents, and other legal professionals to facilitate smooth transaction processes * Prepare detailed reports and summaries of legal findings for client review *Skills/Requirements* * Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients? interests * Excellent research capabilities to gather relevant legal information efficiently * Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic solutions * Strong communication skills for client interaction and teamwork * Attention to detail and organizational skills essential for managing multiple cases simultaneously * Member of Good Standing, Law Society of BC Please submit your resume and the office manager Jasleen Johal will be in touch.
