Nestled on the shores of Vancouver Island, our independently owned luxury boutique hotel features 100 guest rooms, a world-class spa, and exceptional dining experiences. *Faro Bartender* The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of Faro's bar. This includes preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, processing orders accurately, and responding promptly to guest requests to create a welcoming and memorable dining experience. *This position requires open availability for both day and night shifts, five days per week, including weekends.* *Responsibilities:* * Provide all guests with consistent service * Pour beer, wine and cocktails for guests * Motivate and engage team members to consistently deliver the best possible service * Actively lead by example * Resolve guest concerns efficiently and courteously * All other duties as assigned *Qualifications:* * Minimum 3-years bartending experience in a similar environment * Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices and techniques * Exceptional conflict resolution and objection handling skills. *Our Values* At the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, we believe in Refining Luxury, Engaging Authentically, Responsible Sustainability, Inspiring Wellbeing, and Creative Resilience.
