*Company Overview* Join Our Team! Deep Cove Customs Cabinets is a growing renovation and custom cabinetry company specializing in high-quality residential and commercial projects. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated *Skilled Carpenter* to join our team. *Position Overview* As a Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety of renovation and finishing carpentry tasks, working independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have experience in residential renovations, be detail-oriented, and take pride in producing quality workmanship. *Responsibilities* * Perform all aspects of residential and light commercial carpentry. * Install custom cabinetry, millwork, doors, trim, baseboards, crown mouldings, and finishing details. * Complete framing, demolition, and renovation work as required. * Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Work alongside project managers, subcontractors, and clients professionally. * Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. * Maintain clean and organized job sites. * Identify and resolve construction issues while maintaining project quality. * Follow WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety policies. * Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely. *Qualifications* * Minimum *5 years of carpentry experience* preferred. * Experience in residential renovations and finishing carpentry. * Cabinet installation experience is considered a strong asset. * Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Positive attitude and strong communication skills. * Valid BC Driver's Licence with a clean driving record. * Reliable transportation to and from the shop. * Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work. *What We Offer* * Competitive wages based on experience. * Full-time, year-round employment. * Supportive team environment. * Diverse and interesting renovation projects. * Work with a respected and growing local company.
