*Overview* Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and supporting order fulfillment processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution and equipment operation. *Responsibilities* * Operate various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse * Perform accurate order picking using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders efficiently * Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to proper ergonomic techniques and safety protocols * Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery * Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring proper storage practices * Support the use of warehouse equipment such as clamp trucks and order pickers to optimize space utilization and workflow * Follow safety guidelines diligently, including wearing appropriate PPE and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately *Experience* * Prior experience operating forklifts, especially clamp trucks and order pickers, is highly preferred * Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately * Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus * Experience working in warehouse distribution or logistics environments demonstrates your ability to thrive in fast-paced settings * Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing is advantageous * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods * Strong attention to detail combined with good communication skills ensures accurate order picking and inventory control Join us in delivering excellence through safe, efficient warehouse operations!
