<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><b><strong>Just Simcoe Express</strong></b><br />Barrie, Ontario<br />Part-time with opportunity to grow into full-time</p><p>About Just Simcoe Express</p><p>Just Simcoe Express provides local delivery, warehousing, storage, pick-and-pack, fulfillment and logistics services to businesses throughout Simcoe County and surrounding areas.</p><p>We work with local retailers, e-commerce businesses, manufacturers, florists, real estate professionals and other organizations that need reliable, flexible logistics support.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to help grow our customer base and build long-term business relationships.</p><p>The Role</p><p>You will be responsible for identifying potential business customers, starting conversations, understanding their logistics needs and closing new accounts.</p><p>This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone who is comfortable prospecting, following up consistently and building relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.</p><p>The role will initially be part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the customer base and recurring revenue increase.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Prospect for new business customers throughout Simcoe County and surrounding areas</li><li>Contact potential clients by phone, email, social media and in-person outreach</li><li>Identify businesses that may benefit from local delivery, warehousing, storage or fulfillment services</li><li>Schedule and conduct discovery calls and sales meetings</li><li>Prepare quotes and service proposals</li><li>Follow up with prospects and move opportunities through the sales process</li><li>Close new customer accounts</li><li>Maintain accurate records of sales activity and follow-ups</li><li>Build long-term relationships with new customers</li><li>Work closely with operations to ensure customer requirements can be delivered successfully</li><li>Represent Just Simcoe Express at local networking events, business events and community opportunities</li><li>Help identify new markets, partnerships and service opportunities</li></ul><p>Services You Will Be Selling</p><ul><li>Same-day local delivery</li><li>Scheduled and recurring business deliveries</li><li>Flower and specialty delivery</li><li>Warehousing and storage</li><li>Pick-and-pack services</li><li>E-commerce fulfillment</li><li>Local distribution</li><li>Real estate sign installation and related services</li><li>Customized logistics solutions</li></ul><p>Compensation</p><ul><li>Hourly base wage</li><li>Uncapped commission on new business</li><li>Performance bonuses</li><li>Mileage reimbursement for approved customer meetings and travel</li><li>Opportunity for increased hours and advancement based on performance</li></ul><p>Commission is paid in addition to the hourly wage and is designed to reward the development of recurring, long-term customer accounts.</p><p>Schedule</p><ul><li>Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week to start</li><li>Flexible weekday schedule</li><li>Some local travel and in-person meetings will be required</li><li>Opportunity to transition into a full-time role</li></ul><p>What We Are Looking For</p><ul><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers</li><li>Confident making cold calls and approaching new prospects</li><li>Organized and consistent with follow-up</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work independently</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset</li><li>Comfortable working in a growing small-business environment</li><li>Able to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions</li><li>Familiarity with Simcoe County and the local business community is an asset</li></ul><p>Experience</p><p>Previous experience in sales, business development, logistics, transportation, warehousing, e-commerce or customer service is an asset b- Location Barrie, ON
