This opportunity may be right for you.</p><p><strong>An on-call schedule.<br> Valuable administrative experience.<br> A compassionate and professional environment.</strong></p>Your Day-to-Day Contribution<p>In this role, you will often be the first person families meet. Your warm welcome, calm demeanor, and organizational skills will directly contribute to the quality of their experience.</p><p>You will also provide essential administrative support to help ensure the smooth operation of the funeral complex.</p>Summary of Responsibilities<ul><li>Welcome families and direct them to funeral directors and prearrangement counsellors;</li><li>Answer and forward telephone calls and faxes related to newspapers, contracts, grave openings, and other matters;</li><li>Open and review files;</li><li>Perform GAMMA file checks, including validation with families;</li><li>Complete various computer-related and administrative tasks;</li><li>Prepare and update burial and cremation files;</li><li>Review the complex?s calendar and scheduled events daily;</li><li>Communicate appointment information to the appropriate individuals;</li><li>Arrange and set up flowers;</li><li>Maintain the order and cleanliness of the premises and ensure that common areas and equipment, including the coffee machine, remain functional;</li><li>Perform any other related duties.</li></ul>Candidate Profile<p>This position is particularly well suited to someone who:</p><ul><li>Has experience or an interest in administration, secretarial work, reception, or customer service;</li><li>Is currently studying administration or a related field and would like to gain relevant professional experience;</li><li>Demonstrates strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail;</li><li>Is welcoming, calm, professional, and respectful;</li><li>Is comfortable using computer systems and managing files;</li><li>Can prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;</li><li>Demonstrates autonomy, sound judgment, and reliability;</li><li>Is committed to providing families with high-quality service.</li></ul>Employment Conditions<ul><li>On-call, relief position;</li><li>Minimum availability of six days within each 14-day period;</li><li>Availability required every second weekend, for either day or evening shifts;</li><li>Hourly wage of <strong>$22.85</strong>, in accordance with the collective agreement.</li></ul><p><strong>A valuable opportunity to gain experience in reception and administration while contributing to a deeply meaningful mission.</strong></p>- Location Montréal, QC
