<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><b><strong>Job Summary:</strong></b><br />We are seeking an experienced <b><strong>Bookkeeper with strong Sage 50 accounting software experience</strong></b> to manage daily bookkeeping operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support accounting functions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience using <b><strong>Sage 50</strong></b> and be comfortable handling full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities.</p><p><b><strong>Sage 50 experience is a mandatory requirement for this position. Only candidates with demonstrated Sage 50 bookkeeping experience will be considered.</strong></b></p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using <b><strong>Sage 50 Accounting Software</strong></b></li><li>Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries</li><li>Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations</li><li>Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity</li><li>Prepare financial reports, account summaries, and bookkeeping statements</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and related documentation</li><li>Track outstanding invoices and follow up on accounts receivable</li><li>Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documents</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities</li><li>Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures</li></ul><p><b><strong>Requirements:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a <b><strong>Bookkeeper using Sage 50 (mandatory)</strong></b></li><li>Minimum 2+ years of <span class="long-word">bookkeeping/accounting</span> experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices</li><li>Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations</li><li>Ability to accurately manage financial data and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting documentation</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><b><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Experience handling full-cycle bookkeeping independently</li><li>Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses</li><li>Knowledge of payroll processes and tax-related documentation</li></ul><p><b><strong>Important:</strong></b><br />Applicants without hands-on <b><strong>Sage 50 experience will not be considered.</strong></b></p></div></div>- Location Concord, ON
