<b>Job Description</b><br><span id="spandesc"><p><b>Job Overview</b><br/></p><p>We are seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team.<br/></p><ul><li>This is a Temporary to Permanent Role and pays $20.21 to start. The shift is from 12PM to 8PM Monday to Friday.<br/></li><li>During the training period the hours are 10AM to 6PM Monday to Friday.<br/></li><li>This position starts right away and requires a person with a forklift license for a sit down counter balance. This person will be driving a Sit Down Counter Balance Forklift that is electric.<br/></li><li>Priority is given to people with at least 3 years of experience.<br/></li></ul><p>This role is essential for efficiently managing inventory, ensuring safe handling of materials, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount.<br/></p><p><b>Duties</b><br/></p><ul><li>Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse<br/></li><li>Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of goods<br/></li><li>Pick and prepare orders accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS)<br/></li><li>Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols<br/></li><li>Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure optimal operation<br/></li><li>Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and maintaining accurate records<br/></li><li>Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members for efficient workflow<br/></li><li>Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking and packing processes<br/></li></ul></span><br/><span id="spanreq"><h3>Requirements</h3><p><b>Skills</b><br/></p><ul><li>Proven experience operating forklifts,<br/></li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing and inventory control<br/></li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently<br/></li><li>Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory counts<br/></li><li>Knowledge of warehouse distribution procedures and safety standards<br/></li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team in a warehouse setting is essential<br/></li><li>Please send a resume as soon as possible as this position starts right away.<br/></li></ul><div><br/></div></span><br/>- Location Calgary, AB
