Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres. Establish work schedules. Food safety/handling skills. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
