We are seeking a Full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join us at Peninsula IDA Pharmacy, where we combine enthusiasm and teamwork to foster a warm, relaxed, and professional work environment. At Peninsula IDA, we place a high value on work?life balance. Our pharmacy close to the public at 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. There are no Sunday or statutory holiday shifts. Duties of the Pharmacy Assistant include but are not limited to the following: * Cashiering * Greet patients and answer phone calls in a professional manner * Prescription intake and data entry * Count, measure, and label medications for dispensing * Blisterpack medications * Receive and maintain inventory of medications and supplies * Perform administrative duties including scanning, filing, and faxing documents * Ensure both work area and public space are kept clean and organized * Follow all safety and confidentiality protocols * Perform any other duties assigned by the pharmacist The successful candidate requires the following qualities: * Possesses high motivation and a robust work ethic * Demonstrates a caring and friendly demeanor * Exhibits excellent skills in customer service and communication * Pays strong attention to details and accuracy * Capable of working proactively as part of a dynamic team * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving workplace requirements * Be reliable, punctual, and professional * Previous experience in pharmacy or a similar role is preferred but not required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Store discount * Vision care Work Location: In person
