We are a 48-bed facility, and we are fully licensed by the province of Nova Scotia. Nakile maintains a reputation as one of the finest long-term care facilities in Western Nova Scotia. We are currently seeking one Temporary, Part Time, Occupational Therapist to join the Nakile family.Hours of WorkPermanent, Part-Time, 16 hours/bi-weeklyResponsibilitiesThe Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing residents with Occupational Therapy programs and services that include assessing their current needs to plan, implement, document, and evaluate therapeutic interventions. The Occupational Therapist will work under the direction of the Administrator and in collaboration with the Director of Care, Resident Care Coordinator, Physiotherapist, and Therapeutic Recreation staff.Duties will be performed in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, Standards, Policies and Procedures of Nakile Home for Special Care.
