Our members share a long-standing tradition of excellence across business, sport, and community involvement. *ROLE OVERVIEW* We are seeking an energetic, professional, and service-oriented Banquet Server to support the Club's busy calendar of weddings, tournaments, member events, and special functions. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and memorable experience for members and guests. The successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced event environment. *Please note this is a seasonal position with possibility for extension.* *This is a seasonal position with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends based on Club events and operational needs.* *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* * Provide exceptional food and beverage service during banquets, weddings, tournaments, and Club events. * Welcome members and guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner. * Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to function specifications. * Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages in accordance with Club service standards. * Monitor guest satisfaction throughout events and respond promptly to requests and concerns. * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of banquet spaces before, during, and after events. * Complete opening, ongoing, and closing duties for banquet functions. * Work collaboratively with banquet captains, kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow team members to ensure seamless event execution. * Follow all food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service standards. * Assist with resetting rooms and preparing for future functions. * Attend department meetings and training sessions as required. * Perform additional duties as assigned. *QUALIFICATIONS* · Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional Member experiences. · Smart Serve Certification (required prior to start date). · Minimum 1 year of food service experience preferred, ideally in banquet, hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to remain calm and service-focused during busy events. · Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on Club events. · Commitment to maintaining the Club's high standards of service and professionalism. *YOUR CAREER AT THE CLUB* We are committed to meeting the diverse interests of our members and are looking for motivated individuals to join our talented team.
