Construction Helpers work closely with a single skilled tradesperson, providing essential assistance that supports the overall project workflow. There are opportunities to advance into skilled trades through demonstrated skill and experience development.</p><p><b><strong>Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Handle and transport materials to support construction activities</li><li>Prepare job sites for construction tasks</li><li>Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of the work area</li><li>Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment</li><li>Provide direct assistance to a skilled tradesperson on-site</li><li>Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed</li><li>Clean sites thoroughly to ensure safety and organization</li></ul><p> </p><p><b><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li>5+ years of construction experience</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid driver's license</li><li>Dependable vehicle</li><li>Basic carpentry knowledge</li><li>Experience in material handling</li><li>Physical stamina to endure manual labor and frequent travel</li><li>Strong teamwork and communication skills</li><li>Awareness of construction site safety and procedures</li><li>Willingness to learn</li><li>Clean police record</li></ul></div></div>- Location Ottawa, ON
