Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Group home. Rural area. Mental health institution, facility or clinic. Rehabilitation centre and special health institution. Tasks: Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Implement behaviour management programs. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
