Playtime Pediatric Dentistry is a busy pediatric dental office in South Surrey close to Morgan Crossing Mall. We are looking for a friendly and hard-working Certified Dental Assistant for a maternity leave position. We offer a nurturing and positive dental experience to make every dentist appointment the best playdate of the week! *Check us out at playtimedentistry.ca* *Responsibilities* We strive on providing the best dental care for our pediatric patients. We take the time to educate our patients during examinations to provide the best service and really bond with our patients. Your role will be assisting our Pediatric Dentists during procedures that may include oral sedation or nitrous oxide. On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include sterilization, rotation, chairside assisting, x-rays, polishing, fluoride application, treatment plan discussions, and impressions for appliances. *Qualifications* * Dental Assistants: 1 year (preferred) * CPR Certification * Enjoys working with children * Current registration and licensure as a Licensed Dental Assistant * Dependable, independent, hard-working, and organized. * Ability to communicate and deal with others effectively *Benefits:* * Bonus Package * Paid time off * Dental care * Health Benefits (massage, physiotherapy, vision, gym membership) *Hours* · Working hours: 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
