Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor will coordinate the repair and maintenance of machinery, vehicles and equipment. We seek a professional who will focus on tactical and operational activities and align and implement reliability practices and programs. In this role, you will lead all aspects of maintenance, repair and project planning and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.(#LI-ES2) Key Accountabilities Operate, monitor and maintain machines and production equipment.Develop and implement production schedules to use labor, tools, plant and equipment effectively.Undertake production activities to transform tangible and intangible inputs into finished products.Plan, run and review production operations to achieve output and quality objectives.Plan and prioritize work orders, scheduling overall repair and maintenance to minimize production downtime and disruptions.Other duties as assignedResponsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team. QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering,Maintenance Management, or a related technical field ORA valid Alberta or Interprovincial Journeyman ticket (Millwright, Electrician, Refrigeration, or related trade)Experience supporting audit compliance and root/cause analysis processesMinimum 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or food processing environmentValid class 5 driver's license.Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs/ladders for extended periods.Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.Primarily day shift: occasional weekend or on-call availability may be required.Overtime may be necessary during peak production or emergency repairs.Other minimum qualifications may applyPreferred QualificationsProven track of supervisory experienceExperience with food safety standards (HACCP, CFIA regulations).Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles.Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.Position InformationRelocation assistance will not be provided for this position.Visa sponsorship will not be provided.This position is based in Alberta - CalgarySalary Range: 80,000.00to $110,000.00 CADCargill is an equal opportunity employer and committed to providing accommodation to our job applicants with disabilities.To apply using chat/text, please click Apply Now button OR use this link to create a login to apply.- Location Calgary, AB
