\*\*\*MUST HOLD A VALID CANADIAN MILLWRIGHT TICKET\*\*\* *Job description:* *Reports to:* Maintenance Supervisor As a *Maintenance Millwright* at *Ursa Manufacturing ULC*, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure equipment operates efficiently, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support production and manufacturing goals while upholding health, safety, and quality standards. All hourly employees must be able to do the following during their employment with URSA: a) Meet production output standards and quality as set by the company b) Show up on time for every schedule shift c) Demonstrate an active commitment to health and safety in all aspects of the job *Shift, salary, status * Day Shift 7:00am ? 3:30pm (M-F) Afternoon Shift 3:00pm ? 12:00am (M-F) OT eligible ? After 40 hours as per CBA *Pay Rate: $42.85/hr* * *Major duties and responsibilities * * Troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment issues * Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (pumps, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, generators) according to layout plans * Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment * Inspect machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls (PLC) * Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts * Robotic maintenance, press maintenance, and general production support * Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipment * Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during maintenance or set-up * Operate hoisting and lifting devices (cranes, jacks, tractors) to position machinery and parts during installation or repair * Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures * Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions * Maintain 5S standards in dedicated areas * Follow lock out / tag out procedures and lead by example in health and safety practices * Liaise with all departments and communicate consistently with the Quality Department to meet goals * Ensure documentation and reporting is completed accurately * Perform other duties as assigned· Maintain safe and positive work environment REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES: * OSSD or equivalent, including Grade 12 English credit * Positive attitude while leading by example * Detail oriented and independent worker * Strong problem-solving skills * Effective communication skills * Motivated and empowered to take initiative * Team player * Ability to follow all URSA policies (including attendance, health & safety, and quality standards) * Must be able to read and write English EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Grade 12 Diploma * Licensed Millwright certification * 2?5 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal stamping * Proficiency in operating manual machines (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders) * Experience with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine shop tools * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics * Familiarity with steel blanking, metal stamping, and die-making processes * Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality work * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Good communication and teamwork skills PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENT: * Must be able to work with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work in a unionized environment. * Moderate to steady lifting from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder. * Repetitive use of hands and wrist. * This position requires a moderate to high degree of standing, walking, stooping/squatting, kneeling, reaching, pulling, or pushing. * Requir
