We're known for generous portions, hand-crafted recipes, and a tight-knit kitchen team that takes pride in every order. The Role We're hiring an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house. You'll run the line, keep food quality consistent, manage prep and inventory, and mentor kitchen staff. This is a hands-on role ? you're cooking and leading. Responsibilities - Oversee kitchen operations during scheduled shifts - Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards - Handle prep, inventory counts, and ordering as needed - Train and supervise kitchen staff - Ensure compliance with Alberta food safety and sanitation standards - Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running on time during rush - Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when needed Requirements - Proven kitchen management experience (minimum 2 years in a lead cook, sous chef, or kitchen manager role) - Alberta Food Safety Certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days) - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy holiday periods - Physical stamina ? able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg - Reliable, punctual, and a team leader - Canadian citizens and permanent residents only ? we do NOT offer LMIA contracts or employer sponsorship What We Offer - Competitive pay ($18?$22/hr based on experience) - Flexible part-time or full-time scheduling - Staff meal program - Growth opportunity ? we're expanding across Alberta - Supportive, family-style work environment How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed with your resume.
