*Job Summary* We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Captain to lead our banquet service team and ensure seamless execution of events. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions, coordinate with kitchen and event staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership will help create memorable events by maintaining high standards of food quality, service excellence, and hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your supervisory skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. *Responsibilities* * Lead and supervise banquet service staff to ensure efficient setup, service, and breakdown of events * Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation according to event specifications * Oversee food handling, serving, and food safety protocols to maintain hygiene standards * Manage guest interactions professionally, addressing any concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction * Utilize POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling accurately * Assist with interviewing and training new team members to uphold service quality and team cohesion * Ensure all banquet areas are clean, organized, and prepared in accordance with safety regulations and hotel standards *Skills* * Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities * Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team * Familiarity with POS systems like Micros or similar cash handling platforms * Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor under pressure * Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Experience in event planning or banquet management is highly desirable * Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations, including kitchen experience and food industry standards Join us as a Banquet Captain and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
