<strong>The Company</strong><br><strong> </strong><br>Globe 24-7 is partnering with a Canadian mining organization to hire an experienced Resource Geologist to support one of their operations based in Dubreuilville, ON.<br><strong> </strong><br><strong>Position Overview </strong><br> <br>The Resource Geologist is responsible for developing, updating, and refining geological resource models that support both short- and long-term planning activities across multiple operations. This role ensures geological models are accurate, well documented, and based on current geological information to support resource evaluation, reconciliation, and planning. Success is demonstrated through the delivery of reliable resource models that enable informed technical decisions and continuous improvement of geological modelling practices.<br> <br> <br><strong>The Responsibilities </strong><br> <br>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <br><ul><li>Prepare, maintain, and update geological and grade models to support a range of mining methods and planning horizons.</li><li>Incorporate drilling, sampling, and operational data into resource models to ensure accurate geological interpretation.</li><li>Analyze model performance through reconciliation with grade control and production results, recommending improvements where appropriate.</li><li>Contribute to resource model updates and technical reporting for multiple mining assets.</li><li>Support resource expansion opportunities through geological modelling and data interpretation.</li><li>Maintain data quality by applying established QA/QC procedures and best practices.</li><li>Participate in technical reviews to ensure resource models meet organizational standards and industry guidelines.</li><li>Work closely with geology, mine planning, operations, and exploration teams to support integrated decision-making.</li></ul> <br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum three years of experience in the mining industry.</li><li>Previous experience in resource estimation, geological modelling, or a resource geology role is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with geological modelling software, geological databases, and Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Eligibility for, or registration as, a Geologist-in-Training (GIT) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) is considered an asset.</li><li>Ability to work a rotational schedule in both office and active mining environments.</li><li>Capable of safely handling geological materials and samples weighing up to approximately 23 kg (50 lb).</li><li>Willingness to conduct regular field or site visits and meet all required health, safety, and operational training requirements.</li></ul> <br><strong>The Rewards</strong><br>The position offers a competitive remuneration package with a base salary range of <strong>$97,000-$147,000/yr, benefits/vacation, STIP, Travel allowances and additional incentives</strong>. This position has a <strong>hybrid schedule with periodic visitation to the Mine operation required; however, there is also flexibility to work remotely when possible</strong>.
