*Position Overview* Deep Cove Customs is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for residential and commercial renovation projects, custom cabinetry, millwork, and related construction work. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while working closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the project management team. *Key Responsibilities* * Review architectural drawings, specifications, and scope of work. * Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates. * Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions. * Maintain accurate material, labour, and subcontractor cost databases. * Work closely with project/office managers to ensure budgets remain accurate. * Attend site visits and pre-construction meetings as required. *Qualifications* * 3+ years of estimating experience in residential or commercial construction. * Experience with renovations, cabinetry, millwork, or custom homes is considered an asset. * Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Excellent mathematical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Valid BC Driver's Licence. *Preferred Skills* * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent time management and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously. * Professional communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. *What We Offer* * Competitive wage based on experience. * Supportive and collaborative work environment. * Diverse and exciting residential and commercial projects.
