Tasks: Hire, supervise and schedule staff. Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property. Schedule work. Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Plan and estimate labour and materials. Maintain work records and logs. Tender and administer contracts. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Provincial licence/certification to apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and pesticides. Equipment and machinery experience: Pick-up truck. Small engine equipment. Area of specialization: Lawn care. Tree service. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail.
