*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team at Foundations Asphalt and Concrete. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw concrete into smooth, durable surfaces that meet project specifications. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety at every stage of the finishing process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from foundations and floors to decorative surfaces, contributing to the creation of lasting structures. *Duties* * Apply finishing techniques to freshly poured concrete, including smoothing, troweling, and edging to achieve desired textures and finishes * Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring structural integrity and precise dimensions * Operate heavy equipment and power tools such as mixers, grinders, and screeds safely and efficiently * Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide your work accurately * Perform restoration and renovation tasks on existing concrete surfaces, including crack repair, caulking, and surface leveling * Use hand tools like trowels, floats, chisels, and masonry tools to shape and finish concrete surfaces with precision * Coordinate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution while adhering to safety standards *Skills* * Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and heavy equipment operation * Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry, and flooring installation * Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate project implementation * Skilled in concrete finishing techniques such as polishing, sealing, and texturing for both functional and decorative purposes * Experience with renovation projects involving restoration of existing concrete surfaces * Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship * Knowledge of welding practices relevant to structural reinforcement or repair tasks * Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights * Familiarity with schematics related to construction layouts and technical specifications * Construction experience across various environments ensures adaptability in fast-paced settings Join our team as a Concrete Finisher if you are passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills toward building durable structures.
