<b>Job Description</b><br><span id="spandesc"><div>SUMMARY<br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced, organized, discreet, and versatile <b>Housekeeper</b> to oversee the upkeep and day-to-day management of a private residence located in Hampstead, Montreal.<br/><br/>The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-presented, organized, and comfortable home environment. This individual will also occasionally prepare the evening meal, ready to be served or reheated, according to the family's needs.<br/><br/>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br/></div><div>Housekeeping and Home Organization<br/></div><ul><li><span>Maintain the overall cleanliness of occupied areas, including general housekeeping, dusting, and floor care.<br/></span></li><li><span>Perform deep cleaning as required, including bathrooms, showers, the oven, terrace, and balconies.<br/></span></li><li><span>Ensure the home remains clean, organized, welcoming, and well-maintained at all times.<br/></span></li><li><span>Make beds and change linens as needed.<br/></span></li><li><span>Organize storage areas, closets, and personal belongings.<br/></span></li><li><span>Monitor and rotate food items in the refrigerator and pantry.<br/></span></li><li><span>Store, organize, and rotate seasonal clothing.<br/></span></li><li><span>Care for furniture, delicate surfaces, and items requiring special attention.<br/></span></li><li><span>Ensure the residence remains functional, orderly, and well maintained.<br/></span></li></ul><div>Laundry and Wardrobe Care<br/></div><ul><li><span>Sort, wash, fold, and iron clothing and household linens.<br/></span></li><li><span>Provide general care for garments and textile items.<br/></span></li><li><span>Perform minor clothing repairs and alterations as needed.<br/></span></li><li><span>Maintain closets and wardrobes in an organized and orderly manner.<br/></span></li></ul><div>Cooking and Meal Preparation<br/></div><ul><li><span>Occasionally prepare the evening meal.<br/></span></li><li><span>Prepare simple, healthy, and well-balanced meals.<br/></span></li><li><span>Ensure meals are ready to be served or reheated according to established instructions.<br/></span></li><li><span>Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly kitchen following meal preparation.<br/></span></li></ul><div>Household Support and Logistics<br/></div><ul><li><span>Provide daily care for three (3) dogs.<br/></span></li><li><span>Coordinate walks, grooming appointments, veterinary visits, and related pet care needs.<br/></span></li><li><span>Run household errands, including grocery shopping and replenishment of household supplies.<br/></span></li><li><span>Occasionally transport children to activities, appointments, and other engagements.<br/></span></li><li><span>Welcome contractors and service providers attending the residence.<br/></span></li><li><span>Maintain a professional and courteous presence with vendors and external service providers.<br/></span></li><li><span>Oversee service visits as required and communicate any relevant information to the family.<br/></span></li><li><span>Manage waste, recycling, and related household tasks.<br/></span></li><li><span>Report any issues requiring attention within the residence.<br/></span></li></ul><div>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS<br/></div><ul><li><span>Proven experience as a Housekeeper, Household Assistant, or in the maintenance of a private residence.<br/></span></li><li><span>Enjoys cooking and is comfortable preparing simple, healthy, family-style meals.<br/></span></li><li><span>Must be fluent in either English or French.<br/></span></li><li><span>Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.<br/></span></li><li><span>Discretion, reliability, honesty, and professionalism.<br/></span></li><li><span>Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.<br/></span></li><li><span>Proactive, meticulous, versatile, and committed to maintaining high standards.<br/></span></li><li><span>R- Location Hampstead, QC
