Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Other miscellaneous crop farming. Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato). Outdoors. Wet/damp. Odours. Hot. Noisy. Cold/refrigerated. Tasks: Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Hand harvesting vegetables. Pack fruits and vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Sort fruits and vegetables. Weeding. Write daily basic progress reports. Clean work area. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Type of crops: Apples. Blueberries. Cherries. Field berries. Orchard fruit.
