*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/woman <PERSON> to join our dynamic team. As a Journeyman/woman <PERSON>, you will be responsible for executing complex mechanical and welding tasks, interpreting detailed schematics, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful completion of projects and the ongoing maintenance of equipment and facilities. This position is ideal for individuals eager to showcase their craftsmanship and advance their career in a fast-paced, energetic setting. *Duties* * Perform advanced welding using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) techniques to fabricate, repair, or modify metal components according to project specifications. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation, repair, or manufacturing processes. * Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation. * Utilize hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills to measure, cut, assemble, and install parts accurately. * Execute rigging procedures for lifting and positioning heavy machinery or materials safely and efficiently. * Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and improve system performance in manufacturing or construction environments. * Collaborate with team members on projects involving schematics interpretation, plumbing systems, or complex assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman in manufacturing, construction, or maintenance fields with a strong focus on welding (MIG and TIG). * Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence. * Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, and rigging equipment. * Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing installations, and general building maintenance is highly desirable. * Prior experience working with schematics for mechanical or electrical systems in industrial settings. * Strong understanding of safety standards related to welding, rigging, manufacturing processes, and construction practices. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
