*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. * Follow food safety protocols to ensure safe food handling and storage practices. * Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary. * Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures. * Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary work environment. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques in the kitchen.
