*Job Summary* KMA Fabricating is a family owned steel and racking company that has been operating for over 30 years. We specialize in custom industrial racking systems and have done work for Sleep Country Canada, NAPA Auto Parts, Maple Leaf Foods and Staples among many other corporations across North America. We are looking to grow our team and expand our business. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding operations to fabricate, repair, and maintain metal components and structures. Your expertise will ensure that all welding tasks meet safety standards, technical specifications, and project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. *Responsibilities* * Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to produce durable metal assemblies and structures. * Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and welding symbols to accurately execute fabrication tasks. *Experience* * Proven experience in welding within a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques. * Electrical experience related to machinery troubleshooting supports smooth production workflows. * Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment operation and performing repairs accurately. * Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings confidently. * Strong communication skills in English are necessary for clear documentation and team collaboration. * Experience in facilities maintenance or general maintenance roles adds value to the position. * Demonstrated leadership qualities that motivate teams toward safety excellence and quality outcomes.
