No ECE Assistants please Looking for somone who wants to work part time 2, 3, or 4 days a week in a classroom of 8 children. We are seeking a part time Early Childhood Teacher to job share with another teacher in our 30 months to school age classroom of 8 children. Ideally looking for someone to work 4 days, but can be flexible if the candidate wants less days. We just want to find the candidate with the right fit for our centre. Candidate should be confident to operate the classroom by themselves and have at least 3 years of experience in the early childhood education field. Our centre is a small, supportive environment with 16 children in total, including 8 children in our Junior Kindergarten program. We are located in Coquitlam near IKEA and Braid SkyTrain Station. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working closely with young children and values a collaborative team environment. This educator should be confident, responsible and comfortable in running the classroom by themselves. Please note the wage listed already includes the provincial BC wage enhancement. Wage is $19 - $21 before Wage Enhancement Wage $25-27 after Wage Enhancement Please do not apply if you only have your ECEA certificate. *Responsibilities* * Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children?s development * Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment * Supervise children and ensure their well-being at all times * Communicate effectively with parents and team members * Work collaboratively with other educators *Qualifications* * Valid *BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) License to Practice* * Valid First Aid and CPR certification * Criminal Record Check *Note:* Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and currently reside in British Columbia. *Skills and Attributes* * Warm, caring, and patient approach with young children * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to work independently and stay organized * Positive attitude and professional demeanor *How to Apply* Please submit your resume and proof of ECE certification.
