*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods to ensure smooth operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help maintain accurate inventory levels, support order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving operation while developing your skills in logistics. *Duties* * Act as the main point of contact for freight and shipment coordination. * Book all outgoing shipments and confirm pickup details, delivery needs, and timelines. * Request, compare, and track freight and shipping quotes for customer orders and internal shipments. * Prepare small packages for courier and freight pickup. * Build crates and package large signs safely for shipping. * Receive incoming freight, check shipments for damage, and report any issues. * Create, update, and maintain shipping documents, labels, quote records, and booking details. * Work with production, sales, and logistics to confirm shipment details, dimensions, weights, and deadlines. * Assist with freight estimates by estimating shipment size, weight, destination, and comparing carrier options. * Keep shipping areas clean, organized, and safe. * Follow company safety procedures when lifting, packaging, crating, and moving products. _Education and Requirements:_ * High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or packaging is preferred. * Comfortable using computer systems, Microsoft Office applications, email, and shipping documents. * Able to lift, move, package, and crate materials safely. _Key Competencies:_ * Attention to detail: Ability to check shipment information, labels, packing details, and documents for accuracy. * Communication: Ability to clearly communicate shipping needs, delays, and freight information. * Organization: Ability to keep shipments, supplies, and work areas organized and ready for pickup or delivery.
