Western Zone is seeking two (2) permanent full-time salaried Anatomic Pathologists at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL.Western Memorial Regional Hospital is a newly constructed, state-of-the-art acute care facility that opened in June 2024. The hospital serves as a 164-bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland, delivering a broad range of secondary and select tertiary services to a population of approximately 80,000 residents.The successful candidates will participate in anatomic pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy services within the Pathology Discipline at WMRH.Work EnvironmentCorner Brook and the Western region offer an exceptional quality of life. Corner Brook also offers a thriving arts community and top-notch sporting and recreational facilities.????????????????????????????????????????QUALIFICATIONSMedical Degree (MD) from a recognized institutionRoyal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification in Anatomic Pathology (or equivalent) or American Board of Pathology AP/CP certificationEligible for licensure as a Pathologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.cpsnl.ca)Must satisfy credentialing requirements of NL Health Services Western Zone's Pathology Discipline including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector checkExcellent communication and collaboration skillsOther combinations of experience, training, and personal attributes may be considered????????????????????????????????????????DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide comprehensive anatomic pathology services including surgical pathology and cytopathologyPerform autopsy services as requiredDeliver consultations and collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teamsWork collaboratively with the interdisciplinary Pathology teamSupport person- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements????????????????????????????????????????REMUNERATIONAs per Memorandum of Ag- Location Corner Brook, NL
