CANCER SCREENING PROGRAM CLERKOPEN COMPETITIONDEPARTMENT OF HEALTHPERMANENTFREDERICTONThe Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the New Brunswick Cancer Network as a Cancer Screening Program Clerk, in FrederictonAs a Cancer Screening Program Clerk, you will:Provide support to various professionals as well as management;Prepare, validate and approve weekly program correspondence;Be responsible for tracking and data entry of screening participants data elements into the Cancer Screening Integrated Information System;Answer and screen telephone calls from the public, primary health care providers, specialists and outside agencies;Fax participants' information to various Regional Health Authority facilities;Receive, prioritize and resolve faxes;Record issues as per established processes;Create charts for participants;File electronic documents; andOther duties as assigned.Who you are:You are a professional with a high degree of integrity and accountability.You recognize and consistently meet the unique needs of your clients - and your clients agree.You are comfortable and effective working with executives, external stakeholders, clients and all levels of the organization.You are a creative problem solver and have the ability to manage multiple files at once.You are recognized for your self-motivation and ability to work independently.You pride yourself on your attention to detail, organization skills and ability to prioritize deliverables.You enjoy collaborating with a dynamic team and are continuously seeking ways to add value.You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.You work hard and are fun to have around.Essential Qualifications:High school diploma supplemented by successful completion of a one (1) year post-secondary program in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite is required.An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.Written and spoken competence in French and English is required.
