<p>A keen eye and attention to detail is a skill you pride yourself on.</p><p>You are good with numbers and able to spot discrepancies quickly nothing gets past you!</p><p>We are looking for an inquisitive, full-cycle Staff Accountant who loves to dig deeper to find the perfect solution.</p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their accounting career looking for stability, a strong benefits package, and on-the-job support while working toward a CPA designation or for someone experienced in full-cycle accounting who enjoys staying hands-on in a collaborative, mid-size team environment.</p><p>Your contributions to the team: Manage the maintenance of fiscal records and prepare monthly financial reports, including property accounting and bank reconciliations.  Lead the completion of complex calculations and intricate financial transactions to ensure accuracy in the general ledger.</p><p>Ensure all business transactions, accruals, adjustments, and account reconciliations are completed in a timely, accurate manner.</p><p>Assist in preparing monthly and year-end financial statements, including all routine working papers and cost statements.</p><p>Review budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing actual-to-budget report variances and communicating status updates to regional teams.</p><p>Maintain and update the Policies and Procedures Manual for both routine and complex accounting transactions.</p><p>Build strong rapport with internal staff and Regional Managers to ensure all transactions accurately reflect the organization’s operations.</p><p>Remain current with all regulations, tax laws, and industry trends to understand their impact on the organization’s financial statements.</p><p>What you need to be successful: A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and full-cycle accounting experience will be considered.</p><p>A high level of personal integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.</p><p>Strong problem-identification and resolution skills with a logical approach to analysis.</p><p>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</p><p>High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a general understanding of computerized accounting systems or ERPs.</p><p>An interest in or active pursuit of a CPA designation is a strong asset.</p><p>Ability to thrive under pressure and meet defined deadlines while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.</p><p>ERP Integration Advanced Financial Analysis Canadian Regulatory & Tax Knowledge Digital Literacy What we offer: Employees enjoy a wide range of benefits and competitive reward.</p><p>You will be eligible to receive salary range of $56,800.00 to $71,000.00 per annum, this will be determined by your skill set, education and experience.</p><p>You will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s benefits program covering: Employer paid extended health, vision, and dental coverage (including family) Employee and Family Assistance Program Employee Referral Program Yearly health and wellness benefit RPP eligibility after 1 year Employee recognition program In-house professional development opportunities Why Broadstreet?</p><p>Broadstreet Properties Ltd.</p><p>is a family owned and operated property management company, partnered with Seymour Pacific Developments, that manage multi-family residential communities.</p><p>We are a growing organization made up of diverse team members who are motivated to continuously innovate our approach to asset management.</p><p>We consider employee wellbeing a priority and are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our teams while ensuring a workplace that is respectful of everyone.</p><p>Broadstreet Properties Ltd.</p><p>practices equal opportunity hiring and onboarding processes to ensure equal access and participation for everyone.</p><p>We understand that we have a responsibi- Location Campbell River, BC
