Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: General manufacturing. Tasks: Monitor and inspect quality of material produced. Pack items for shipping and distribution. Trimming and sanding plastic or fiberglass parts. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Pack and unpack goods. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Callipers. Equipment and machinery experience: Milling machines. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
