*Mission: * The role of Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, as well as assisting with the loading and unloading of audio-visual equipment. *Expected Outcomes: * *1. Maintain a Safe and Organized Warehouse Environment* ? Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment. ? Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support efficiency and safety. ? Adhere to the Health & Safety (H&S) policy to contribute to a respectful and compliant workplace. ? Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale. *2. Execute Inventory Control and Equipment Tracking/Handling* ? Assist with inventory management and tracking to maintain accurate stock levels. ? Ensure inventory is organized and handled with proper care to minimize damage and loss. ? Assist with the loading and unloading of audio-visual equipment with attention to detail. ? Check in and verify incoming equipment to ensure accuracy and condition upon arrival. *3. Prepare Equipment for Deployment and Return* ? Assist with the preparation of equipment for rental or deployment to ensure readiness. ? Ensure efficient and diligent pulling and returning of owned and cross-rented equipment and assets. *4. Support Equipment Maintenance and Storage* ? Label and store equipment in designated areas to support accessibility and order. ? Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed to ensure functionality. *Competencies: * *1. Attention to Detail* ? Carefully verifies and handles inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent damage or loss. ? Consistently follows labeling, storage, and equipment preparation procedures with precision. *2. Organization & Time Management* ? Maintains a clean, orderly workspace to support efficiency and reduce safety risks. ? Prioritizes daily tasks and handles multiple responsibilities to meet operational timelines. *3. Safety & Compliance* ? Follows all safety protocols and adheres to the company?s Health & Safety (H&S) policies. ? Identifies and reports potential hazards or unsafe conditions promptly. *4. Teamwork & Communication* ? Works cooperatively with team members to support smooth warehouse operations. ? Communicates clearly and respectfully with colleagues, supervisors, and delivery partners. *5. Equipment Handling & Physical Capability* ? Safely loads, unloads, and transports equipment using proper techniques and tools. Demonstrates stamina and strength to perform manual tasks and operate in a fast-paced environment. *6. Initiative & Reliability* ? Takes responsibility for assigned tasks and consistently follows through to completion. Shows willingness to assist with additional duties and adapt to shifting priorities. *Required Skills/Experience: * ? High school diploma or equivalent ? Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control environment is an asset ? Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse procedures ? Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and consistently ? *Minimum 1 year* of experience in the audio-visual, live events industry ? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ? Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment ? Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and equipment logging ? Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures ?
