This role ensures banquet operations are executed efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with hotel service standards, departmental SOPs, labor guidelines, event documentation, and guest expectations. The Banquet Supervisor supports operational readiness, staffing coordination, service flow, labor productivity, breakage control, and floor supervision while maintaining strong communication with Banquet leadership, Culinary, Event Services, and Operations teams. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth event execution, event satisfaction, operational compliance, labor cost management, and elevated guest experiences aligned with Paradox Vancouver?s luxury lifestyle positioning and Forbes-level service expectations. *Key Responsibilities* *Banquet Operations & Event Execution* * Supervise banquet operations and service execution for meetings, conferences, weddings, receptions, social events, and catered functions. * Ensure banquet setups, room arrangements, service flow, timelines, and operational readiness are executed according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and departmental standards. * Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate event requirements, service expectations, and operational updates with banquet team members. * Monitor floor operations throughout events to ensure service quality, timing, guest engagement, operational efficiency, and service consistency. * Coordinate closely with Culinary, Stewarding, Event Services, and Banquet leadership teams to ensure smooth event execution. * Support operational adjustments and service recovery when required during events. * Monitor banquet labor productivity, staffing deployment, and service flow to support operational efficiency and labor cost management. * Support achievement of departmental Event Satisfaction Survey goals through proactive floor leadership, service coordination, and guest engagement. * Monitor banquet operations to minimize breakage, equipment damage, operational waste, and service-related deficiencies. *Service Standards & SOP Compliance* * Ensure compliance with departmental SOPs, service standards, grooming standards, labor standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures. * Monitor banquet service delivery to ensure alignment with Forbes-level guest experience expectations and hotel brand standards. * Ensure banquet setups, buffet presentations, table settings, beverage service, and event readiness meet quality expectations. * Support training, coaching, and reinfo
