Job description *Oncore Seniors Society is looking for multi-faceted, energetic individuals interested in casual cook/ dining room / housekeeping work for RiverBend Seniors Community in Kamloops! Key attributes of this person will include:- A Warm People Person- Focused on Helping Others- Multi-tasker with the Ability to Prioritize- Fast Paced- Calm when Faced with a Challenging Situation *Work Hours:* Weekdays & Weekend availability- different shifts available including: 7am-3pm, 7am-11am, 12pm-8pm,3pm-11pm, 4pm-8pm for Dietary, 6:30am-2:30pm and 11:00am-7:00pm for Cook, 7:30-3:30pm and 9:00am to 5:00pm for housekeeping, and overnight 11pm-7am. The successful candidate will be joining the Dining Room Team. They will be responsible for preparing the dining room for meal service and serving three nutritious meals a day to our residents. They will work with a team filled with other Dietary Aides and Cooks all with the central goal of ensuring resident satisfaction. Oncore stresses a healthy work-life balance for their staff. As a casual staff member, you may be called at any time to fill in a variety of shifts. Acceptance of shifts are up to the casual?s discretion based on their availability. *About Oncore Seniors Society:*Oncore Seniors Society is a non-profit organization focused on providing affordable housing and independent living supports to Seniors and Adults with Disabilities. The Oncore team?s passion is to make a positive difference to the quality of life of our residents, focusing on an equitable high-quality experience. They currently have one location in Prince George and three locations in Kamloops. *Requirements:*- A Positive Attitude and the Ability to Learn New Skills- A Proactive, Team Player- Food Safe and WHMIS Certification- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check- *All Staff are Required to be Fully Vaccinated.*- Previous Serving or Kitchen Experience would be an Asset.
