<p>Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator Fort St.</p><p>John, BC  |  Full-Time Construction & Hauling  |  Class 1 Driving + Equipment Operation  |  Manual Transmission Required Position Type Full-Time Location Fort St.</p><p>John, BC Compensation $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience Experience Class 1 driving and heavy equipment operation Equipment Loaders, excavators, and dozers as required on site Licence Class 1 with air brake endorsement, manual transmission About GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd.</p><p>GrizzlyTrek invests in our people, relationships, and partners, ensuring motivated and ready-to-work individuals meet job opportunities that foster lasting success for them and our business partners.</p><p>We work across Canada and industries including mining, construction, oil and gas, turnarounds, and shutdowns.</p><p>Dedicated to sustainable employment, we particularly emphasize career opportunities and empowerment for Indigenous communities across Canada.</p><p>Join us and contribute to building a more inclusive future.</p><p>The Role GrizzlyTrek is seeking a Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our valued client's team in Fort St.</p><p>John, BC.</p><p>This is a dual role for operators who are confident both behind the wheel and in the seat of heavy equipment, working across active construction and hauling environments.</p><p>The work combines hauling materials by Class 1 tractor trailer with operating equipment such as loaders, excavators, and dozers as required on site.</p><p>Successful candidates move between driving and operating seamlessly, maintain productivity, and work safely in fast-paced and remote northern conditions.</p><p>This position requires the ability to operate a manual transmission, and a clean driving record and strong safety focus are essential.</p><p>What You'll Do Operate a Class 1 tractor trailer to haul materials in and around the Fort St.</p><p>John area.</p><p>Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and dozers as required on site.</p><p>Move between driving and equipment operation to keep the job site productive.</p><p>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and daily equipment checks.</p><p>Load, secure, and unload materials in line with load securement standards.</p><p>Maintain accurate records in compliance with hours of service requirements.</p><p>Report mechanical issues on trucks and equipment promptly.</p><p>Follow all traffic laws, site safety requirements, and safe operating procedures.</p><p>What You Bring Valid Class 1 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.</p><p>Ability to operate a manual transmission (required).</p><p>Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or dozers.</p><p>Clean driver's abstract.</p><p>Ability to complete pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle and equipment checks.</p><p>Physically able to perform load securement, unloading, and equipment operation tasks.</p><p>Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.</p><p>Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in construction or hauling environments.</p><p>Oilfield safety tickets such as H2S Alive and CSTS.</p><p>Experience operating a range of equipment types across different site conditions.</p><p>Familiarity with Fort St.</p><p>John and northern BC road and site conditions.</p><p>Load securement and cargo handling experience.</p><p>Work Environment Active construction and hauling sites in and around Fort St.</p><p>John and northern BC.</p><p>Work alternates between driving and operating heavy equipment through the day.</p><p>Exposure to varying weather, seasonal, and remote site conditions.</p><p>Physical tasks including climbing in and out of the cab and equipment, and load securement.</p><p>Personal protective equipment required on site.</p><p>What We Offer Hourly rate of $30.00 to $40.00 based on experience and qualifications.</p><p>Opportunities for overtime based on operational requirements.</p><p>Life- Location Fort St. John, BC
