<h3>Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Shift Supervisor!</h3><p></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON<br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time<br><strong>Pay:</strong> CA$24.67/hour<br><strong>Schedule:</strong> Continental Rotation (12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM ? 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM ? 7:00 AM)</p><p></p><h3>Lead Security Operations at One of Toronto's Leading Hospitals</h3><p>Paladin Security is seeking an experienced <strong>Security Shift Supervisor</strong> to join our team at <strong>North York General Hospital</strong>, one of Toronto's most respected community teaching hospitals. In this leadership role, you'll oversee day-to-day security operations, mentor security officers, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare professionals.</p><p>If you're an experienced healthcare security professional ready to take the next step into leadership, we'd love to hear from you.</p><p></p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><p>As the Security Shift Supervisor, you will:</p><ul><li> Lead, coach, and support security personnel during your assigned shift. </li><li> Schedule staff and ensure full security coverage across the site. </li><li> Ensure compliance with all site-specific procedures and security protocols. </li><li> Conduct regular security patrols and facility inspections. </li><li> Respond to and investigate incidents, emergencies, and complaints. </li><li> Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation. </li><li> Train and mentor new security staff while ensuring certifications remain current. </li><li> Recognize strong performance and manage corrective action when required. </li><li> Work closely with the Client Service Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li> Valid Ontario Security Guard License. </li><li> Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification. </li><li> Valid Ontario G-Class Driver's License. </li><li> Clear Vulnerable Sector Check. </li><li> Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination. </li><li> Completed immunization record (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and 2-step TB test). </li><li> Willingness to complete N95 mask fit testing. </li><li> Strong verbal and written English communication skills. </li><li> Minimum <strong>2 years of healthcare security experience</strong>. </li><li> Legally authorized to work in Canada. </li><li> Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications, or willingness to complete Paladin's sponsored certification program. </li></ul><p></p><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li> Previous experience as a Security Supervisor or Team Lead. </li><li> Post-secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement, Criminology, or a related field. </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><h3>Why Join Paladin Security?</h3><p>At Paladin Security, we invest in your long-term success by providing:</p><ul><li> Career advancement and leadership opportunities. </li><li> Company-provided uniforms. </li><li> Annual boot allowance. </li><li> Security license reimbursement. </li><li> Paid vacation and paid sick days. </li><li> On-demand pay options. </li><li> Corporate discounts and employee perks. </li><li> Paid certification opportunities for eligible candidates.</li></ul>- Location Toronto, ON
