<b>Job Description</b><br><span id="spandesc"><div>Our client, a long-time local manufacturer, is looking for a General Labourers to join their Labeling Department! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive application.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div>This role will be responsible for labeling cans as outlined on the manufacturing order. This is manual work, you must be able to lift 35 pounds, count, and read/write/understand English fluently. This position will start as soon as possible. Mid-week or Monday.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><b>Salary:</b><br/></div><div>$19.00 per hour, temporary to permanent.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><b>Hours of Work:</b><br/></div><div>Our client is currently hiring for the night shift for this position.<br/></div><div><br/></div><div>The shift times will be as follows:<br/></div><div>Sunday, 6:00pm - 4:30am, Monday to Wednesday, 5:00pm - 3:30am, Thursday overtime if required.<br/></div><div>Note: You must be able to start on day shift for 2 to 3 weeks for training, before moving to nights.<br/></div><span id="spandesc"><span id="spandesc"><h3>Responsibilities<br/></h3></span></span><ul><li>Safely labeling cans as outlined on the manufacturing order.<br/></li><li>Interpreting and creating paperwork related to the order<span>.<br/></span></li><li><span>Communication with team members about requirements and quality to ensure smooth operation.</span><br/></li><li><span>Routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment.</span><br/></li><li><span>With attention to detail, checking labels to ensure accuracy.<br/></span></li><li>General help with other tasks as needed.<br/></li></ul></span><br/><span id="spanreq"><h3>Requirements</h3><div><ul><li>Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a strong asset.<span> <br/></span></li><li>Must have strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.<br/></li><li>Comfort level with completing a lot of paperwork.<br/></li><li>Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.<br/></li><li>Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.<br/></li><li>Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.<br/></li><li>Attention to detail and good time management skills.<span></span><br/></li></ul></div></span><br/><span id="spanben"><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li><span>Being part of a stable and long-term local company.</span><br/></li><li>Tenured and loyal workforce.<br/></li><li><span>Potential for permanent hire.</span><br/></li></ul><div><br/></div><div><b>Other companies may call this role:</b><br/></div><div>Line Operator<br/></div><div>Labeller<br/></div><div>General Labourer<br/></div><div><br/></div><div><span>If you <b>have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing position and are looking for a great local opportunity</b>, this may be the role for you.
