Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Couples Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will facilitate meaningful therapeutic sessions with couples, helping them navigate relationship challenges, improve communication, and strengthen their bond. Your expertise will contribute to creating a supportive space where clients can explore their issues and work toward positive change. Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive assessments of couples? relationship dynamics and individual concerns * Develop tailored treatment plans focused on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering intimacy * Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that promote understanding and growth for both partners * Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches suited for couples? therapy, including emotionally focused therapy or cognitive-behavioral techniques * Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and track progress throughout treatment * Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards * Stay informed about current research and best practices in couples therapy, integrating new insights into your work Requirements * Master?s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field * Valid CRPO licensure * Training in a specific model of couples therapy (RLT, PACT, EFT, Gottman, IFIO) * Proven experience working with couples to address relationship issues and improve relational health * Strong understanding of relationship dynamics, communication strategies, and conflict resolution techniques * Ability to work effectively within a clinical setting * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a warm, trusting environment for clients Join us at Kennedy McLean Counselling & Psychotherapy Services to help couples build healthier relationships through compassionate care and expert guidance.
