*Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Ass't Restaurant Manager, where your leadership and passion for the food industry will drive exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure top-tier customer service, and manage a talented team to deliver outstanding food and hospitality. Your expertise in food preparation, restaurant management, and team supervision will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. We are committed to fostering a positive work environment where your skills in food handling, safety, and service excellence shine. *Responsibilities* * Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting interviews to build a motivated and efficient team. * Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are consistently met while adhering to food safety regulations. * Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS for transactions and order management. * Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining high hospitality standards. * Monitor food handling procedures, kitchen cleanliness, and safety protocols to uphold health regulations and food safety standards. * Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and managing financial transactions accurately. * Coordinate with kitchen staff on food industry best practices, menu updates, and ensuring timely service during busy hours. *Qualifications* * Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment with strong team management skills. * Extensive food service experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. * Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and sales tracking. * Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members. * Strong background in restaurant management, including customer service excellence and hospitality standards. * Knowledge of food handling regulations, kitchen operations, and the overall food industry landscape. * Experience with cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records. * Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus, showcasing versatility across hospitality settings.
